Music Booster Club
The Music Boosters Club is a parent-run organization that supports, promotes, and enhances the music program at Open Door Christian Schools. It is only possible thanks to amazing volunteers that raise funds and serve the music department to cultivate excellence through music.
Our goal at ODCS is to positively impact our culture for Christ. Music is a powerful avenue to influence our culture, and the more excellent our programs, the more influence our band (includes color guard and poms) and choir ensembles will have. Our students need to be well equipped, well conditioned, and whole-heartedly supported. This can only be accomplished through the participation of the Music Boosters Club.

The Music Boosters Club is the "Volunteer Arm" of the Music Department. Music Boosters provide opportunities to raise funds and serve the music program as a whole. Providing excellence through music takes the effort and support of the Music Boosters Club. Thank you in advance for your dedication to serving our young musicians, helping maintain uniforms and equipment, and creating an environment to cultivate excellence through music.

The Music Boosters Club is open to all interested parents, teachers, staff, community and corporate leaders who support the purpose and mission of the organization.

The Music Boosters Club realizes that God has gifted every individual with different talents. We also realize that every individual and family has different work and personal demands. Commitment for some may be as simple as occasionally helping with setting up for concerts or helping the day of a fundraiser, for others it may be heading a fundraising committee or filling a position of leadership. Any help you can give is needed and will be appreciated.
Where are volunteers needed?
Where are volunteers needed?
We need your help throughout the school year! We encourage every family with an ODCS student to volunteer on campus at least once per school year. The Music Boosters Club needs volunteers at to plan and serve at these events:
Homecoming: Set-up, concessions, grill chef, bake sale, and tear-down at the annual Homecoming games each September.
Band Shows: Organize uniforms, drive the trailer, and chaperone at band shows during band shows.
Concessions: Set-up, food prep, sales, and clean-up at select athletic events throughout the school year.
Donut Fundraiser: Help sell donuts on Friday mornings before school throughout the school year.
Stoller Fundraiser: Braided butter breads sales in partnership with Stoller's each winter.
Spaghetti Dinner: Decorations, ticket sales, set-up, decorations, food prep/server, chaperone, clean-up for our biggest fundraising night of the year each February.
End of Year Awards: Set-up, senior gifts. food prep/server, and clean-up to help celebrate the accomplishments of students.
